Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Invoice Studios, trading as Document Studio AI ("Invoice Studios," "we," or "us"). By accessing or continuing to use the website, Studio, AI tools, or digital products, you agree to these terms, our license terms, refund policy, and privacy policy. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it and that you are legally able to enter this agreement.

The service and license. Invoice Studios provides editable business-document tools, AI-assisted creation, templates, and digital downloads. Subject to these terms and your selected plan or purchase, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them for your own lawful personal or business work. No physical goods are shipped.

Payments and subscriptions. Prices and billing frequency are shown before checkout. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Digital purchases are delivered after successful payment. Subscription access continues for the paid or trial period shown at checkout and may renew until canceled.

Accounts. You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping it current, protecting your credentials, and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account is compromised.

Acceptable use. You must not use the service unlawfully; commit fraud or send spam; infringe privacy or intellectual-property rights; upload malware or harmful content; probe, scrape, disrupt, or bypass security or technical limits; reverse engineer the service; resell or redistribute protected source files; create deceptive deepfakes, hateful or illegal content; or attempt to jailbreak or misuse AI safeguards.

Your content and AI output. You retain rights you hold in prompts, uploaded files, and document content. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content only as needed to provide and secure the service. You must have the rights to submit it. You are responsible for your prompts, your use of outputs, and checking outputs for accuracy, legality, and suitability. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or similar to other output and must not replace qualified legal, financial, medical, tax, or other regulated professional advice.

Ownership and rights complaints.Invoice Studios and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, documentation, templates, branding, and other materials, except your content and rights expressly granted under our License Terms. Rights holders may report alleged infringement through our Contact page with identification of the work and material involved. We may remove content and restrict or terminate repeat infringers.

Moderation. We may review, filter, refuse, restrict, or remove content or AI output where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, rights protection, or enforcement of these terms.

Suspension and termination. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time. When access ends, features and saved content may become unavailable; export content you need before termination where possible.

Availability and warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service and products are provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Templates and guides are informational tools and do not guarantee any business or financial outcome.

Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Invoice Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including lost profits, data, business, or goodwill. Our total liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us through Paddle in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

Changes. We may update products, prices, services, and these terms. Material changes will be communicated where required, and changes apply from the stated effective date.
